Applicants for Active membership in the DMC must be an active or retired male law enforcement officer, military serviceman, member of an emergency services profession, or a select member of the citizenry who possess the highest moral and ethical values, uncompromised integrity and character. All prospects for membership must be sponsored by an active member in good standing.

Applicants for Associate Membership in the DMC must be the female wife or “significant other” (girlfriend) of an active member in good standing, and must also possess the highest moral and ethical values, uncompromised integrity and character.
